I graduated from Mission Farrier School, chosen for its industry leading philosophy and approach to trimming and shoeing focused on the balance parameters of the internal anatomy of the hoof and limb. I completed the Oregon School of Natural Hoof Care mapping and trimming course and was trained level 1 through Natural Lifemanship in Trauma Informed Equine Assisted Psychotherapy and Trauma Focused Equine Assisted Learning. I am an Accredited Farrier through the International Association of Professional Farriers and am currently completing my credential in Equine Behavior.
For nearly six years, I have cared for horses and their hoof health with continual education in horsemanship and hoof care which includes many clinics not listed here. My latest teacher is a wild mustang I recently adopted from the Bureau of Land Management Wild Horse and Burro Program.
